About The Game

The Do You Know Where You Are?™ - World Challenge Edition game is a world geography board game for 2 to 6 players or teams, ages 10 to Adult.

The Do You Know Where You Are?™ game provides an entertaining and challenging twist not found in traditional geography games.  It combines facts and trivia - from subjects like history, sports, literature, movies, or natural wonders - with actual locations on an accurate and detailed game board map.  This approach, along with the game’s innovative level-of-play handicapping system, makes geography interesting, entertaining, and challenging for players of all ages.

Basic Principles of the Game:

Make it Fun:  Combining hints based on History, Movies, Natural Wonders, Sports, and Landmarks (amongst others) with the actual location on a map makes playing the game - and learning about the world around us in the process - fun and entertaining.

Make it Fair: A handicap system is included so those just beginning their world travels can compete with those who have already seen the world.

Make it Challenging: With 3,000 questions - 500 questions for each of the Continent Groups of  AfricaAsiaAustralia, Antarctica, & OceaniaEuropeNorth America, and South America & The Caribbean - it will provide an ongoing challenge for even the most ardent geography buff.

Make it Flexible: You can play for pieces, you can play for points, or you can play for as much time as you have available.

As you play the game, you could find yourself atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris; in the Himeji Castle in Japan; crossing the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco; watching the World Tango Festival in Buenos Aires; at the Sydney Opera House in Australia; or in awe of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.

For example:

At 51.5º North and 0.1º West you are in the medieval fortress where, tradition holds, all prisoners that entered through its "Traitor's Gate" never left alive. Do you know where you are?

Try answering the question using the portion of the game’s map shown below - the location is indicated with a red dot.  The answer is upside down below the image.
